What is Prevacid?
Prevacid is used to treat ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition caused by the backflow of stomach acid that causes heartburn and injury of the esophagus, and conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, including Zollinger- Ellison. Prevacid is used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, the bacterium that causes ulcers. This medication belongs to a class called proton-pump inhibitors. It works by decreasing the amount of acid produced by the stomach.
What is Nexium?
Nexium belongs to a group of medications known as inhibitors of the proton pump. Nexium decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Nexium is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and also helps in the healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid).
What is Flonase?
Flonase is a steroid. Flonase is used to treat nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by seasonal allergies or throughout the year.
What is Nasonex?
Nasonex is a steroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Nasonex is used to treat nasal symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by allergies to seasonal or year. Nasonex is also used for polyps not return after being removed surgically.
What is Allegra?
Allegra is an antihistamine that reduces the amount of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can cause symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Allegra is used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children. Allegra is also used to treat itching and hives caused by chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children.
What is Seasonale?
Seasonale contains a combination of female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of ova from the ovary). Seasonale also causes changes in cervical mucus and the lining of the uterus, making it more difficult for sperm to reach the uterus. This medicine is used as contraception to prevent pregnancy.
What is Plan B?
Plan B (Plan B) is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or failure of other forms of birth control (such as a condom breaking, or failing to take 2 or more birth control pills). Plan B is a female hormone that interferes with ovulation (the release of the egg from the ovary). This medication also causes changes in cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm reaching the uterus and harder for the fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.
What is Mircette?
Mircette is very effective birth control pill. Hormones in Mircette work together in order to stop ovaries from releasing an egg, as result preventing pregnancy.
Mircette tablets (desogestrel / ethinyl estradiol and ethinyl estradiol) have excellent cycle control as demonstrated in clinical studies.
What is Ortho Tri-Cyclen?
Ortho Tri-Cyclen is a combination of estrogen and progestogen that is used to prevent pregnancy. Ortho Tri-Cyclen can also be used to regulate the menstrual cycle, treatment of menopausal symptoms and other indications, as determined by your doctor.
What is Aviane?
Aviane is a birth control pill. Aviane contains a combination of estrogen and progesterone, two hormones involved in conception, and prevent ovulation. Aviane causes changes in cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it more difficult for sperm to reach the uterus and prevents adhesion of the fertilized egg to the uterus.
