What is Condylox?
Condylox is a medication that prevents the growth of some types of cells. Condylox topical (skin) is used for the treatment of genital wart that appears on the outside of the body, but this medication does not cure genital wart. Condylox topical may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.
What is the most important information I should know about Condylox topical?
Do not use this medication on any warts or skin growth that has not been checked by your doctor. Use more of this medication will work better, and may increase side effects. What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before using Condylox topical?
You should not use Condylox if you are allergic to it. Do not use this medication on any warts or skin growth that has not been checked by your doctor. Pregnancy Category C by the FDA. It is not known whether Condylox topical will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant while taking this medicine. It is not known whether topical Condylox passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without consulting your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
How should I use Condylox topical?
Use exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use larger or smaller amounts, or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label. The professional health care provider can teach you how to apply this medicine at home.
Use more of this medication will work best, and may increase adverse effects. Wash your hands before applying topical Condylox. Like, wash the skin area to be treated and allow to dry completely before applying the medicine.
Apply the medication using the applicator with cotton that you receive or you can use your fingers. Apply Condylox only on the wart tissue and do not let it fall on healthy skin. If the genital wart is in a fold of skin, stretch the skin and apply the medicine. Allow the treated skin dry before releasing it and letting it get to turn.
This medication is usually applied in the morning and evening for 3 consecutive days, after that not used the medicine for 4 days. This 7-day cycle of treatment can be repeated up to 4 times, or just until I can not see any sign of wart tissue.
Wash your hands again after application of topical Condylox.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 4 cycles of treatment.
Condylox topical is not a cure for genital warts and do not stop you passing this condition to others through sexual intercourse and vagina, anus, or mouth. You may develop new lesions during treatment with Condylox topical. For best results, keep using the medication for the full time prescribed by your doctor.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not freeze. This medicine is flammable. Do not use near high heat or flame, or while smoking.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Use the missed dose of Condylox as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
What happens in an overdose?
Overdose symptoms may occur if you absorb this medicine through the skin after using too much. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, flu symptoms, sore mouth and throat, numbness or tingling in your hands or feet, confusion, difficulty breathing, or seizures.
What should I avoid while using Condylox topical?

Seek emergency medical attention if any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Wash and remove skin medicine and call your doctor immediately if you have a serious skin reaction such as severe itching, burning, discharge, bleeding, or changes where the medicine was applied.
Less serious side effects may include:

mild skin irritation, sore, bleeding, dryness, peeling, tingling, scarring, blistering, crusting, or swelling of the skin where the medicine was applied;
*
sleep problems (insomnia);
*
unpleasant odor of the skin;
*
nausea, vomiting, or
*
pain during sex.
What other drugs will affect Condylox topical?
It is not likely that other drugs you take orally or inject will have an effect on topically applied Condylox. But many drugs can interact. Tell your doctor about all medications you use. This includes drugs that are obtained with or without medications, vitamins, and herbal products. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.
